Side Reins
The Evoequine Leather Side Reins are a great training tool to help your horse learn to accept the contact, and start to learn to work long and low without your hand interfering. Donut reins are a great training tool for horses with a high head carriage.
Can be used to support in hand training and whilst ridden schooling. These side reins are beautifully made with a high quality, supple, pre-oiled leather. The Evoequine side reins have been cleverly engineered with rubber donut inserts, this allows a kinder action with an elastic feel for the horse to encourage and not fix the aid.
This popular training aid lets the rider apply direct rein pressure to help the horse maintain light contact with the bit while moving freely in the bridle. Especially effective on horses with high head carriage, or tightness in the back muscles, the sliding effect of these leather reins at the bit ring produces a steady contact and a calmer, rounder, more relaxed horse.
The reins have multiple hole settings pre punched in making them highly adaptable in length. This makes them highly adaptable so that they fit most sizes of horse and ponies.
We feel this is a must have training aid for yards, due to their great adjustability means you can use them on a variety of different size horses, without taking up loads of space in the tack room. These reins come as a set of two reins.
