With EvoEquines founder being a fully qualified cert ed teacher and verifier with vast years of educational teaching you can experience learning in a supportive environment that mets a wide range of learning styles.
On this course you will cover the Bit fitting theory units at home to read and learn around your other commitments. These units are covered by you reading the in-depth course unit book in your own time and pace offering flexibility. You study each unit at a time making notes as you go. We would aim for a learner to complete this area within 6 weeks around work but you can take a year if required.
At the end of the course book you will complete an assignment and send it to your allocated tutor for marking. This is to monitor your understanding and any additional support that maybe required prior to your hands on practical training day. This is not a pass or a fail and your tutor is there to help you if needed. If the assignment needed some more content adding to it your tutor will advise you. Combined this ensures you get the most out of your training so you are fully prepared in the Bit fitter role.
Once the assignment has been completed as a pass by your allocated tutor you will be offered a range of dates to choose from to book your hands on practical day. This day is very exciting and involves a teacher lead class workshop with hands on fitting and feeling bridles and bits. This is where your prior learning is applied and enhanced even further into practice. The unit book theory will be recapped and embedded following a power point delivery alongside a work book you will complete and take away with you.
If you are a learner with access needs or you are not able to attend the practical day in person you can now complete the course from a distance. We have recorded each and every section of the practical day course by a tutor to ensure you have access to the same learning and content as if you were there.
