Close Contact Wide Straight Leathers
Bringing to you the most beautiful single strap wide stirrup leathers. These are not only functional they are beautifully made with ease of use and quality factored in.
These close contact leathers are the only close contact leathers on the market that come in two options of leather which gives you two options. One with reinforcing the leather with an additional webbing for added stability and strength whist remaining fine for that important close contact feel.
You can choose from the hard leather option with a wraparound calf skin lining to help protect your saddle from marking or the deluxe calf skin with wrap around soft luxury with an additional hidden webbing for additional strength. These are strong but feel like soft velvet. The leathers contain a buckle protection sleeve that is removable for buckle adjustment and ease of use.
The leather attachment loop to the saddle bar is a slim webbing loop to ensure less bulk and comfort under your upper thigh. No more buckles adding additional bulk and discomfort.
As shown in the photos these leathers are beautifully embossed and carry our stamp EvoEquine brand name for the seal of quality. You can use these leathers with any stirrup iron on the market. We recommend the leathers for use for dressage and lighter hacks only. They are not designed for more active demanding disciplines as they are a finer leather for the close feel.

Size guide: The sizes provided are the length of the leather from the stirrup bar to the top of the stirrup when the stirrup is down and in use. Each size covers a range of 5cm, e.g. size 55cm will cover from 55cm to 60cm.
The question with these leathers is do they make a difference? Yes they do. We have had ten sellouts with our wide leathers already and these new additions are already a top seller.
The wide leather will help keep your lower leg more stable and secure. Your hips and ankles will feel more balanced and supported. So less ridder pain and more effective aids to your horse. You will be able to focus more on your seat aids and balance giving a more comfortable and relaxed ride.

Made with our Eco Friendly Vegetable tanning process to ensure the welfare of the ridder and environment. Please wipe clean with a damp cloth and wipe over with a conditioning balm as required. These leathers will not require over conditioning.
