EvoEquine Close Contact Pro Grip Jumping Leathers are a single strap wide leather. They offer unbeatable ridding comfort and style.
The Pro Grip Leathers contain a carefully crafted curve to encourage not only the closeness of the lower leg but also the leg stability. Each leather has our signature quality branded stamp embossed into the leather for the seal our approval. These are not only functional they ooze style and class.
The carefully sculpted curve encourages your leg to wrap around the horses contour giving a wrap around feel with less interference. The wide leather is beautifully lined with calf skin, this not only gives a soft contact to the saddle to reduce leg rubs on the saddle. The calf skin also helps with the grip of the leg without a rubber resistance pull / stick. This can give a feeling of entrapment and restive whilst the calf skin will support you but not to a jarring feel.
The leathers are available in a range of leather colours and lengths. Below is a height guide. If you are unsure on the length you need, you can measure the leathers on your current saddle by lowing the iron down on the saddle and measure using inch from the saddle bar to the stirrup iron. This will give you the drop you need.
We have two leather options to choose from:
- Hard leather with the inside wrapped In calf skin for grip and less marking
- Deluxe Calf Skin made with complete calf skin. This gives the ultimate feel of luxury and softness.
Are ethos is to protect the environment all our leathers are made of vegetable -tanned leather which is gentle on the skin, durable and eco-friendly.

To care for the leather: Wipe away any loose dirt and sweat after each use with a damp cloth or sponge. Apply a protective balm to restore and maintain condition. DO NOT apply oils as these can encourage a stretch In the leather fibres. Close contact leathers must be checked before each use. We highly recommend these.
