EvoEquine Advanced Bridle Fitter Course
Want to improve your knowledge on bridle fitting and start up a new career in the Equine sector? EvoEquine has an approved Advanced Bridle Fitters Course supported by Lantra and Uk Rural Skills (UKRS).
We are not only market leaders in supplying and manufacturing custom tack to ensure the horse is as comfortable as possible in his bridle, we are now offering inspiring educational courses to help support you in your new journey. With EvoEquines founder being a fully qualified cert ed teacher and verifier with vast years of educational teaching you can experience learning in a supportive environment that mets a wide range of learning styles.
On this course you will cover theory units at home to study and learn around your other commitments. The course workbook is in-depth and covers each unit in detail. You can work through one unit at a time making notes as you go along. We would expect this first stage of your course to take about 6 weeks if studied around a full time job but you have a year if required. If you have a week off a week would be adequate to complete the theory side and end of unit assignment.
This offers flexibility around your learning and work. At the end of the workbook you will complete an assignment. This is done to monitor your understanding and any additional support that maybe required prior to the practical training day.
This process ensures you get the most out of your training so you are fully prepared in the bridle fitter role. The assignment is not a pass or a fail. When your tutor marks it for you they will advise you if you need to add more content to pass.
Once the assignment has been marked by your allocated tutor you will be offered a range of dates to choose from to book your hands on practical day within the UK. This day is very exciting and involves a teacher lead class workshop and hands on fitting and feeling bridles and bit placements. This is where your prior learning is applied and enhanced even further into practice.
The therapy will include a teacher lead power point for you to complete and ask questions as required.
